Time To Think About The Garden

By
Real Estate Agent with Realty World Alliance

After work today we took advantage of the last couple hours of daylight and started pruning the roses, turning some soil and cleaning up the beds.

It was 84 degrees here today and Spring fever has hit with a vengeance. Soon every hour I can get away I'll be spending in the gardens watching life begin anew all around me.

The dogs are happy and excited, the roses were showing some growth and the moles have gone to work on the soil.

There is something good to be said about all of the seasons but there is something magical about Spring!

Joel, I've been in my garden every day this week.  Spring is special.  The tender buds are just forming on my Japanese Maple tree.

My wife buys roses from Jackson Perkins.  They are incredible.

We want a vegetable garden, and an herb garden.  The challenge is the Deer on our property - they eat anything and everything down to the roots!

Spring has sprung in TX too but I didn't think you had 80 degree temperatures there in Kansas yet! I'm from IL and even graduated from KU.

Life is always better in the garden - those roses are beautiful! I hope you have an abundance of beautiful flowers and roses this year.

Beautiful roses, and 84 degrees, ya don't say . . . hmmmmm  . . . we're always fortunate if we hit 64 degrees right about now ;-)  But, spring truly is in the air, no matter what its temp is!
