TRUMBULL

Market Trends

January 2013

It still looks like Trumbull’s real estate market hit bottom in Q4 2011 and has been in recovery since then, although the last three month trend doesn’t point in that direction.  With inventory levels down from 192 in January 2012 compared to 137 in January 2013,  and only 4.6 month’s supply of inventory (the 12 month trend is used for the Absorption Analysis), we should begin to see rising prices in the Spring market.  Trend signals are mixed in this market, but the law of supply and demand suggests that prices should be on the rise soon even if doesn’t show up in the trend analysis.

HOTTEST HOMES IN TRUMBULL

What homes are most in demand by buyers in Trumbull?  The sweet spot in the market is for 3 bedroom homes with a list price of $300,000-325,000.  They tend to be on the market only 93 days and sell for 94% of list price.
