Choosing a lender when buying a San Antonio, Texas home

Does it matter which one you choose? The short answer is.........YES!!!!!!!

The longer answer is this can be an EXTREMELY important step in the process.  It can really make or break the process and you.  I have a few I trust, a few I recommend, a few I have done business with myself.

Some important questions to ask a lender when considering doing business with them:

1.  Do you work on commission?

2.  Do you answer your phone/email/text after 5 & on the weekends?

3.  Do you close loans on time?

Three simple questions.  Use them.

Yes, Kristin, I have found that it's a good idea to have a few lenders whom I can recommend to my buyers, since many of them will ask their agents first. Plus, you want to send your clients to those whom you trust and will return your calls in a timely manner too.
