If you are in one of the Super Tuesday states today is the day you get to exercise your right to vote. There are hundreds of countries all over the world where people are literally dying in order to vote. We are very fortunate to have a process that while driving most of us nuts actually works.

It doesn't matter what your preference for President.. what matters is that you have a choice. Headlines scream everyday about those who have no choice... or are dying because they made a choice.

In CA we have a few propositions that also need to be voted on. How you vote on these will determine some important issues... like term limits, community college fees and extending Indian gambling. In Redondo there is a huge school bond issue. These are all issues that deserve our attention. Your vote does matter.. remember when you lost the class election by one vote?

So just do it.... VOTE!

Marlene- I'm done.. I read everything and made my choices.. It was  so easy.. unlike so many places where you take your life in your hands if you don't vote the right way..

Hi there,

Yep, did it myself this afternoon. You're right about our propositions in CA, I'm anxious to hear the results.

BTW, I'd be interested in hearing more about your school bond issue. We had one more than a few years back, voters passed it. The cost was a little under $100 per homeowner to improve our older schools.

Kaye our voting experience comes up on March 4th and at the moment my issue is super delegates.  What's up with that? LOL   oh well, the race is tight so far; should be very interesting to see how it all plays out. The one thing I have been pleased with is voter turnout.  I love that you were getting out the vote. Too many issues at stake - to not vote! Even in Maine yesterday in what sounded like almost blizzard conditions turn out was high.  Makes me feel good! :-)  Now you guys in California can sit back and see how the rest of us do on this lol

Carole- Looks like Ohio will be the "decision" state again.  I'm glad our primary is over.. the number of phone calls was overwhelming.  I too am pleased to see the voter turnout.  The more involved we are the better it will be for the country..
