Today marked a new chapter... I registered Alyssa for "big school" Kindergarten. She's in Kindergarten this year at a private school as she was not 5 when the year started. She will go through the Kindergarten graduation, but you know how people always wish they could get a moment back, or that their kids are growing up too quickly? I'll be able to get that moment back when she goes to Kindergarten again and graduates again with her true class of 2026.
She already has many friends at "big school" and can't wait to get there. Just this morning she asked how many more days she has at her current school. She was planning her after school activities making sure I knew which days she already had things, like gymnastics and swimming, so I would schedule art classes and golf lessons on different days. She loves art, and her dad was surprised to hear her say she wanted to do golf lessons. We'll have to see how that goes...
One step closer to my baby girl growing up. Heck, she doesn't even fit on the growth chart anymore... Kindergarten at Bee Cave Elementary, here we come!!
