Getting the most out of technology or the lack of it.

So far it has been eight days that I have not turned on a computer and have not used a copy machine but I have managed to

make appointments, show properties, go on listing appointments, take listings, input and make changes in the MLS,

attend home inspections, meet appraisers, write, negotiate and ratify

a contract, reblog, host my radio show and continue to write a daily blog. I have been able to get the most out of technology or the lack of it.

How?

By using only my iPad.

The thought of not having the use of a computer would have sent me into heart palpitations just a short time ago.

Having my iPad has allowed me to run my real estate business with no reason for buyers, sellers or coop agents to be aware of my lack of technology.

HI Margaret - I am not really that into the ipads, even though we have two of them. Mostly because I can do most of the same things on my Iphone, and I can keep it in my pocket. I do carry my ipad on appointments, but I rarely use it during that time. For the most part people just want to talk and it seems to be a distraction.

Margaret, I am sitting here typing on my iPad and watching Bond movie. It is easier to have a pad on my lap than a computer.

Kudos to you for being so adept with technology. Many of us are just struggling to keep abreast.
