Todd, I started in real estate 10 years ago in my mid 20's and know exactly where you are coming from. I think because of my age, I was forced to do things differently and not follow the status quo. I remember when I first started, my Broker asking me if I had been contacting my sphere of influence. I just laughed and told her, "My friends are more concerned with which happy hour they are going to tonight than buying a house. My friend's parents view me as immature just like their kids. I may have grown up here....but my sphere is pretty much useless for the next 5-7 years. I'll be starting from scratch".
That being said, what makes a 20-something real estate agent a great asset? They have very few outside influences. They tend to think for themselves and be extremely motivated. They have energy, stamina and a hunger for success that many older agents no longer have.
Most of all???? The profile picture of a 20-something agent actually looks like them!!!!!!!
