So, Anna Clark, the oh-so-talented licensee from our office, opened her front door this morning and this is what she saw. The fuzziness of the photo was actually because she took the photo through the screen door. Yes, it was THAT close! It also prevented her from leaving the house because it just stood there at her front door.

No kidding Brad! I will have to ask her. :) I know her immediate response was to close the door and open it again just to make sure she was seeing correctly. She said that it just nosed the door screen like it wanted inside and waited for about 15 minutes before wandering off.

Hi there Kathy, we had a mom and 'little' one in our yard the other day but not as close as this one.
Great to look at from the inside, but kind of hard on the dogs if they get too close.
That is a little too close for comfort. What do you have to do to get a moose to leave your yard so you can get to your car?

Hi there Roy-nice to see you again! The best answer to that is you wait for them to mosey on. When I was a police officer, I remember another officer trying to shoo one off the road with his horn and sirens. The moose bucked up and stomped the hood of his police car. So we just wait. Jacque :)
