The new Insert/Edit Embedded Media icon makes for a streamlined process. No longer do you need to grab embed code and paste it into the HTML section of your blog post.
Here's how you use it:
- Find your video on YouTube or wherever it's housed
- Copy the unique url of that video and come back to your blog post
- Click the Insert/Edit Embedded Media icon and a box will appear
- Paste your video's url into the File/Url spot. (The Type and Dimensions will auto populate)
- Click Insert
A square yellow box will appear in your blog post, do not fret. Once you click 'Post Blog Entry' the yellow box disappears and your video is there for viewing pleasure.
If the video is housed on your own desktop, click the browse button to the right of the File/Url field to browse your computer for the video; just like you do when inserting images.
Check out this quick video to see what the process looks like.
