It's been another week on Active Rain, and now it's time for the latest list of favorites. But before I begin, I just want to say a little bit about how I plow through the zillion or so posts every week to find the ten posts that make this list. Sometimes, I take the easy approach. There are about fifty bloggers here who produce great stuff pretty consistently, and I can always find wonderful content in their blogs. Then there are bloggers I don't really know at all, and then I'm shocked to see they've been around as long as I have writing good stuff. Finally, there are the newbies, most of whom are just dipping their toes in the blog water, and many show great promise.
Where do I find the posts I feature? The list of just-written posts goes by so quickly that it's not a great place to look. Some that I choose are bloggers who I regularly read, but I like to keep it fresh. I have had great luck by looking for commentors (on my own posts and others) who I don't recognize. I then check out their blogs and have found some wonderful surprises.
So if you are not on the list, please don't think I didn't like what you wrote this week, especially if you have been on many prior lists.
And here goes:
Kathy Streib: Won't Buyers Want to Pick Out Their Own Countertops? Her silly sellers must think buyers have imagination. Hah!
Kristin Hamilton: Why is March 20th is Called ‘The First Day of Spring..Fun Facts? Oh, Kristin, I had no idea! What you need to know about Spring.
Carmela Jacobs: How to be a better listener and why... This is a very well-written post with great advice we can't hear too often.
Andrew Capelli: "Footprints in the Sands of Time" Ah, yes! It all depends on where our footprints will take people.
Jon Zolsky: What Are You Looking For? Yes, Jon makes the list again. Reading this lead to a huge "AHA" moment for me.
