Speechless Sunday- Saying Goodbye to Abuelo- Nestor Felix Gasset- Nestor's father.
Nestor- we call him Abuelo- loved the beach. He was born in Cuba. His roots are from Spain and France. Most of his family left Cuba when Fidel Castro came into power. His son, Nestor Gasset, the one you all know, landed in the United States with his mother and father and brother when he was 6 years old. Whenever he was with us, we took him to the beach. In Cuba they have beautiful beaches, the closest to that are the beaches here in South Florida.
He passed away Friday late afternoon. We are busy gathering family members and relatives .... we will tune in again once things are settled.
