The Children's Museum of St. John's

Saint Augustine may be the oldest city in the nation, but it is also forever growing. Do you know what else is always growing? Children! The Children's Museum of St. John's will provide a place where children and adults will play and learn together as they explore our unique history, culture and environment.

Some of the learning exhibits will teach about marine life, archaeology, history, art, music and more. Children can interact in storytelling to explore their imagination while also experiencing life as it was during St. Augustine’s Colonial Period. They can build and launch their own toy boats or even plant and harvest crops to learn about insects and animals.

Currently the Children’s Museum of St. Johns is a traveling exhibit but they hope to soon become a permanent location in Downtown St. Augustine so they can provide a fun, safe place to play, learn and interact. There are many ways that we as members of the community can get involved in the Children’s Museum. You can become a Founding Member, volunteer at events, donate, join a committee, become a board member, have your child race the Just TRI It! A Kids Triathlon, join the mailing list, or even just share the word.
