Single Family Resale Median Prices are consistent in January 2008 with January 2007.  After seeing price increases earlier in 2007 Single Family Homes saw the median price in January dip back to the 2007 level for the same period.  Sales volume continues to be down from the previous 12 month period.

Condos and Townhouses saw a slight increase over January 2007 for the median price, while sales volume saw an even larger drop than the single family homes saw.

Randy, hope things turn around over there.  We saw lower sales volumes here in Connecticut 1n 2007, but a slight increase in the median prices.

Randy,

Wow, I'm really surprised at your prices. You know we always hear about how expensive things are in HI  so I thought you median price might be a little higher, everything is so beautiful everywhere. Maybe I was just looking at the high priced stuff and dreaming?
