On behalf of the Economic Development Committee of Manalapan Township, I am pleased to welcome The Place Nail & Day Spa as Manalapan’s newest business. Conveniently located in the CVS Shopping Center at 285 Gordons Corner Road, The Place offers personalize care for your mind, body and soul.
The owners, James and Annie Kim bring years of Nail and Spa experience to this new location and pride themselves on offering a second-to-none Spa experience. The Place is currently staffed with four Massage Therapists, three Facial Estheticians and eight Nail Technicians.
Annie and Jimmy, together with their team of designers created an oasis of relaxation meant to delight your senses the moment you walk through the door, thanks in part, to the modern decor, beautiful stone work and custom lighting.
The menu of services is impressive and customizable to fit your personal needs through one of the many packages offered. Services include Hand and Foot Services, Waxing, Skin Care, Facial Treatments, Body Treatments, Massage and Eyelash Extensions.
The Salon itself is more than just lovely, it is truly state-of-the art, with two Facial/Skin Care Rooms and a Private Spa Room with Sauna (big enough for two!), Shower and Jacuzzi.
Turn the corner and you are in the Hand and Nail section where you will find the dramatic rainbow bank of massage pedicure chairs. If you are looking to share and experience with friends, you might consider the private pedicure area which accommodates 4 guests in a private setting with access to a big screen TV.
Jimmy was proud to mention that no expense was spared in the products used in his Salon. In addition, most products are organic. I was impressed by the huge shell of Shea Butter which is imported from Africa and used in many of the specialty pedicures. Gail and I were not disappointed in our Organic Spa Pedicure and are happy to report that yes, we even relaxed for a little while and if you know us, you know that isn’t easy! Tools in the shop are sanitized between each customer in a no-expense-spared advanced autoclave system. Clients are presented with a bag of tools in packages that are color coded to show that they have been sanitized.
The Place Nail & Day Spa truly has a beautiful, warm and friendly environment with a staff that goes the extra mile to make you feel relaxed and pampered. I’m looking forward to going back again and again!!
