Wednesday, March 27, 2013 was the monthly Grand Lakes Latin Ladies club gathering. We met at Ana Dent’s home in Grand Lakes. Ana is from the Chile and she made some wonderful South American Food was not high in calories and very healthy. She made a red snapper stew covered with tomatoes, green olives and onions, the salad was an Argentinian salad that had celery, avocadoes, with a balsamic dressing and the rice was basmati rice with fresh corn. She made empanadas stuffed with vegetables and shrimp.
I had not been able to attend a Latin Ladies Club meeting since our Thanksgiving meal last year so I was pleased to catch up with everyone! I can’t wait until next month!
