There are Easter Eggs hunts all over Richmond Virginia in 2013! They are great fun for families with children! Most allow children from babies through elementary school to participant in the actual hunt, but almost all also have many other activities, music, food and entertainment for adults and older children.
Spring brings rain, but it also brings a sense of renewal. Many rites of spring celebrates traditions created hundreds of years ago.
Easter is a holiday that celebrates Spring with events that include mythical bunnies hiding eggs in the grass. In Richmond Virginia the spring ritual of the egg hunt takes on many forms. Sometimes the kids have to look in the snow. In some cities in Virginia the kids dive into a swimming pool for an egg hunt. And at Virginia Beach, they might have to look in the sand. But most Richmond Virginia Hunts happen on beautiful, green grass lawns. The smaller county towns still have eggs filled with prizes. In Richmond sometimes they just dump candy on the grass and call it an egg hunt, though it is really just an event to run and pick up candy. Here is a list of some of the events hosted throughout Richmond Virginia during Easter which happens in March or April.
