Walk for Kids Long Beach
When you think of Ronald McDonald, you probably instantly think of McDonald's, the restaurant. But the Ronald McDonald's House of Charities Southern California has been a resource, and a place of comfort to children with cancer, and there families since 1977 when it was founded. The Long Beach Ronald McDonald House is the newest in the program, and it's located on the Long Beach Memorial Hospital Campus. The Long Beach Ronald Mc Donald House has 23 bedrooms, with private bathrooms, communal living space and an area for the kids to play! Click here for pictures of the Long Beach Ronald McDonald House.

The Walk for Kids™ is a 5K event to raise funds and awareness for the services and programs provided by Ronald McDonald House Charities of Southern California. Walk for Kids will take place on Sunday, April 7, 2013 in Los Angeles, Orange County, Ontario, and Long Beach and on Saturday, June 1, 2013 in Bakersfield.
Walk for Kids LONG BEACH INFORMATION:
Shoreline Park, Long Beach (200 Aquarium Way)
Parking is $8 (cash only) - Click on the "Driving and Parking" instructions on the left hand column
Date: Sunday, April 7th
REGISTRATION OPENS: 7 a.m.
WALK BEGINS: 8 a.m.
ONLY go to the registration for the following reasons:
* You need to register to walk
* You have $ to turn in or donate
* You have earned a walk incentive & need to pick it up
TEAM MEETING AREA
Look for the big red tents! Tell your team to meet there.
Online registration closes at 12 p.m. on Sat. April 6th - you may still register at the Walk.
