Mortgage rates continue to improve with the jobless claims reports. Tomorrow will be very telling as the actual unemployment numbers will be revealed. Today might be an opportune time to consider locking in your rate if you are currently applying for a mortgage!

The market closed Wednesday with an IMPROVEMENT to pricing.  Wednesday's IMPROVEMENT netted a change of 24 basis points (bps).

With rumors of Japan buying GNs and the situation with North Korea getting worse. I expect buying of Treasuries as money moves to a safe haven.

Sweet! Nice rally this morning. It was sparked by a spike in Jobless claims and a pretty big increase in the Challenger Job Cut numbers. 103.80, is a logical resistance point. Most likely the market pauses here until tomorrows unemployment numbers.
