The Snyder's Mill neighborhood in Park City was constructed largely in the early to mid 1990's and is an area I would recommend to any clients looking for an affordable well kept and safe environment for their families.
The homes in Snyder's Mill are typically modest in size, ranging from just over 1,500 square feet to just over 3,000 square feet. These are three and four bedroom homes, some with a family room and living room as well as some with an office space. There are many options, but the one constant is the out of the way location with very little traffic.
Snyder's Mill reminds me a bit of the neighborhood I grew up in as a kid back east. Unlike most areas of Park City, Snyder's Mill actually has sidewalks where your kids can walk, skate or ride their bikes without venturing out into the street.
Snyder's Mill is located a short walk or bike ride from Willow Creek Park. In my opinion the best park in all of Park City with playing fields filled with children on game days, basketball and volleyball courts, playgrounds, a pavilion and even a pond that doubles as an ice rink in the winter months.
Snyder's Mill is located a short five minute drive to Kimball Junction and its many shops and restaurants and ten minutes from Park City Mountain Resort and Park City's Historic Main Street. It is just a stone's throw across the highway from Canyon's resort as well.
Snyder's Mill is another popular subdivision with typically low inventory. Currently there are three homes available for purchase. These range from a 3 bedroom/3 bath 2,000 square foot home for $599,000 to a 4 bedroom/ 3 bath 2,800 square foot home for $719,000.
