Lenn, I judge if I am near civilization by quality pizza and chinese food! If I can find good food, it is worth living there! Lovettsville use to be such a small sleepy place in the 1980's

Lenn~We're open to Italian food anytime in our family. This is a fantastic post and you are making it so easy for people to find everything they need in MD & VA. Thank you for your continued inspiration.

Jim. You are correct. Lovettsville is still a small sleepy town and, with the new housing market what it is and zoning here what it is, we are likely to remain a small sleepy place. This restaurant opened in 1994. The French restaurant closed about 6 months ago. There are still about 2 more. Quite sufficient for a population of about 1,500.

Julie. Thanks very much. I absolutely adore Italian food. It's just about the best. Thanks goodness my kitchen has a fan vent or the garlic scent would linger. Come to think of it, the garlic scent probably does linger. Mediterranean food is wonderful.

I love a good sub!

LENN - This looks like a great place to eat. I love the nostalgic decor, even though I never got to experience the soda shop first-hand. My parents always spoke about it, so I guess that is where I got my appreciation from. That bowling game is really cool too. I'd love to get one of those for my house.

Adam. The soda shop decor works in a community like Lovettsville where a lot of codgers are still around. We have some farmers that have been here forever on family property. They remember. The place does a very good business and I'm sure it's not all from Lovettsville.
