Last Saturday night my wife and I had the pleasure to go see a Junior High School performance of The Wizard Of Oz At Catherine M. McGee Middle School, In Berlin, CT.  One of the performers was Theo Reed, who played two of the major characters "Tinman and Hickory".

The performance by all the kids was unbelievably well done, but what made it extra special was watching Theo, and the excellent job that he did. My wife and I do not have any grand kids yet, so the Reed children are like our adopted grand kids. We have watched Theo grow up, and are very proud of the young man that he is becoming.

This is the time of the of the year that many of the High Schools and Junior High Schools are having performances of Broadway Plays like The Wizard of Oz.  If you have not had a chance to see a performance yet at your area High School or Junior High School, I would encourage you to do so.  You will be amazed at how well these performances are done, by these up and coming stars.

Great time for a school to be doing the play. With the play that the movie is getting on the big screen, it should bring local interest.

Make it a great weekend.

Good Saturday morning George, sounds like the Reed children are lucky to have their foster Grandparents "THE SOUTO'S", it must have been fun for all and I'm sure the kids appreciated the attendance of the community.

Joan I agree, and my wife and I enjoy being a part of it.

Bill a couple of weeks before we went to a High School play, and these Junior High School kids did just as good of a job.

It is an enjoyable night to watch the 'kids' perform George. Nice of you to support them because an audience is an important thing to performers. Maybe we'll see Theo on the big Broadway stage some day.
