DESCRIPTION
This beautiful home is a mere 6 years young. The sellers are sad to leave, but this is what they say about their home
"When we first found our little Hanover neighborhood, we loved how close and convenient everything was. We absolutely loved the area and were thrilled at all the community amenities. There is nothing better than opening the blinds/drapes on a Sunday morning while enjoying a cup of coffee in front of our fire place or sitting out on our deck in the summer enjoying a nice chilled glass of wine. We love how our home gets such great natural light without all of the direct sunlight. It is absolutely perfect! During the time we have owned this home we've had a composite deck installed, we've upgraded the all of the flooring in the home, we had the beautiful stone fireplace installed, corian countertops, 2ft extension with extra cabinet space, finished basement, cathedral ceilings in the master suite, upgraded en-suite master bath, brushed nickel door hardware, ceiling fans, window treatments. As for the area, there is nothing better. We love the running trails, the pool and the playgrounds. There really is something for everyone here. We love taking walks to Starbucks and bagels & grinds for breakfast and coffee on the weekends. We did not have children when we first bought our house, and the neighborhood has seemed to grow with us at every stage in our life. Our home is centrally located to almost anything we would want to do, whether we want to go explore the nation's capital, walk around the inner harbor of Baltimore or discover historic Annapolis, we are a convenient 25 minutes from each. In Hanover, there is everything, whether you like the night life of MD Live or want to enjoy a low key day shopping at arundel mills mall. We love the atmosphere at "Grillfire" and "Rangoli" has the best local Indian food we have ever had. Also, having a Starbucks in walking distance has set the bar high for future homes. Starbucks is literally a community staple for us. Many of the baristas have been working there since this location opened and they are truly like an extra neighbor. So where do we shop for groceries? Mostly Safeway, which delivers. Also, Wholefoods and Trader Joes are a short 20-25 minutes away. We are sad to leave Kent at the Villages of Dorchester because our neighbors are so amazing. We have gotten really close to many of our neighbors and they will be sincerely missed. We've watched each others children, we've celebrated birthdays and milestones with each other. The people who live here feel genuinely invested in each other and it gives you the small town feel in such a large area. Whether it is walking for frozen yogurt with our kids, or impromptu play dates in one of the many lawns, this neighborhood is perfect for families with small children. There are many children under the age of 3 for your children to grow up with. While we are excited for our relocation to Texas and the next chapter in our life, we are deeply saddened to leave our neighbors and some of the first friends my son has made. There is so much to do here in Hanover, whether you like trying new restaurants, enjoy shopping or love discovering history, living here in the center of it was the most enriching decision we have ever made. We will truly miss our home, our neighborhood, our neighbors and our friends." |
