French Quarter Fest 2013 |
We are in the midst of festival season and the French Quarter Festival takes center stage this Thursday, April 11 - Sunday, April 14. The 30th anniversary of the festival is completely free and celebrates New Orleans music and food throughout the Vieux Carre'. The music can be heard on 18 stages with an even mix of locals and tourists alike, according to statistics. Some of the food includes: crawfish pie, alligator sausage po-boy, Krispy Kreme bread pudding, BBQ Oyster Po-Boy, Cochon de-lait Po-Boy, and on and on.
