This morning I rose a bit earlier than usual to head out and meet some friendly faces. Charles Buell and René Fabre were kind enough to host the Seattle breakfast MeetUp. We feasted over eggs, coffee and juice while discussing everything AR and beyond.
Charles was there first getting our tables organized and René was stuck in traffic. If you think of a typical Seattle day, today fits right in. Rainy and gray with puddles covering the streets. Ahhh Seattle...gotta love it.
Mugs of joe and a veggie scramble doused in the green tabasco was my choice this am. Never red, always green. Charlie was quite famished and finished his breakfast in no time, a simple man, no special sauces needed for him.
Jon showed up in his Mariners gear...and I constrained myself...after all, we can't ALL be Yankee fans and we are in Seattle. Paul was sharing success stories and how funny it is that readers stalk you through your blogs and then when they finally pick up the phone and ring you, they start off by saying how they feel they know you. Blogging: yet another way to humanize yourself! Dan is an avid Star Trek fan I learned, something I know nothing about but enjoyed hearing his passion.
We really had a dream team at our MeetUp, a coach, agent, inspector, title guy and loan officer....the Seattle Studs. Watch out world, they're taking over!
René Fabre, Jon Olsen, Dan Tabit, myself, Michelle Leslie, Paul McFadden, Charles Buell and Kris Neese.
