Murphy Police Department will be participating in the Drug Enforcement Administration's National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day. Anyone wishing to safely dispose of unused or unwanted prescription drugs can bring them to the Murphy Police Department located at 206 N. Murphy Rd. between 10 am and 2 pm for drop-off.
A collection receptacle, fully-attended will be located in the lobby of the Murphy Police Department. Participation is encouraged for individuals, nursing facilities or any other facility that has a need to dispose of outdated prescriptions. The goal for the day is to provide a safe, responsible way of disposal for prescription drugs as well as providing public awareness on the need for safe disposal.
