ABOUT SETTING GOALS - AND REACHING THEM.
SETTING GOALS THAT ARE ATTAINABLE!
Realistic goals will lead to extraordinary results.
I once interviewed an agent who said she would not be satisfied with a penny less than $250,000 in her first year.
I didn't hire her because I was afraid that she might also be unrealistic in other matters. She did get hired by a large company and lasted a few weeks.
Successful agents set realistic goals to establish a benchmark. If they don't reach it, they work harder. If they exceed it, they adjust their goals upward.
Challenge yourself, but don't invite failure.
One thing for sure. You don't impress anyone with unrealistic goals. You impress with production.

This post is inspired by the one written by Wayne Martin this morning.
He states: "If we set goals that are measurable, attainable, realistic and timely, we can get there".
It reminded me of when I was the Operations Manager for a company that owned and operated 26 apartment complexes.
Some of our acquisitions had an outrageous amount of vacancies. It was overwhelming for the leasing staff to know that they had 130 apartments to rent. Is it possible? Certainly, but how?
We developed a "Hot List" of 10 suites of various sizes and floor plans. All they needed to concentrate on were those 10 apartments. When one was rented, another was added to the list. It always stayed at 10, but it was amazing the difference it made when their goals were realistic.
Make it a great day!
