Events in Perry Georgia: 25th Annual Perry Dogwood Festival

I cannot think of a better way to spend a spring weekend in Perry Georgia than at the 25th annual Perry Dogwood Festival.  Both days this weekend (April 13th and 14th, 2013), Downtown Perry and the Georgia National Fairgrounds will come alive as events, vendors, and thousands of visitors converge on Perry GA.  

FREE admission on both days  so clear your calendar  for arts and crafts, contests, food, local entertainment, and a bunch of other fun events.

Events in Perry Georgia: 25th Annual Perry Dogwood Festival

Some of the featured highlights include:

  • DockDogs Competition
  • Hot Air Balloon Rally ($5.00 per person and kids under 6 are free)
  • 2013 Miss Dogwood Pageant
  • Art in the Armory
  • 5K road race ($20 registration)
  • Flapjack Fundraiser ($5 per plate)
  • Rotary Fishing Tournament
  • Local entertainment
  • Arts and Crafts (nearly 100 vendors)
  • Kids rides

Anita - the the Perry Dogwood Festival must be an amazingly beautiful site! Dogwoods are my favorite flowers and I have 2 trees in my yard I'm waiting on bloom time!
