How iconic! Many areas have something that is identifiable with

them - either a landmark, natural feature, skyline, or something

that makes them easily recognizable for what they are. Spanish

moss means the south - in this case Florida. They have from

the oaks and other trees - and give the south

its distinctive character and look.

Steve, it's very much so! The South would not be the same without Spanish Moss hanging from the trees.

Steve, you could have taken that picture at Verandah in Ft. Myers. Located along the Orange river, it is loaded with Oak Trees covered in moss. Enjoy your day!
