Relocating to New York City Part 2
New York City is a big place, home prices vary from under $100,000 to several million dollars. There is a very wide range of different communities. Some have transportation at your doorstep, others you must have a car or a good pair of legs to get around. There are single detached units, semi attached units, fully attached (Townhouses) and apartment house units you can own, as well as Condos. All have their advantages. In Great Kills, Staten Island, we have it all, with the exception of the big apartment type units.
I believe what attracts most people to Great Kills is its country like atmosphere while still having the benefits of city living. We have room between units, open spaces, parks nearby, with the big one, Gateway National Recreation Area with it's marine docks, ball fields, children play area and beach an easy reach for its residents.
Transportation is also very good. X-bus to Manhattan
or express train to and from the Staten Island Ferry only takes about 12 minutes.
