In order to gain beneficial search engine ranking, you must utilize specific and effective tools.  It is imperative to know that proper placement within the search engine will give your company an instant advantage over your competition.  One of the most important tools to accomplish this is the press release.  Press releases are the most effective Search Engine Optimization and Internet Marketing strategy.

A powerful online press release and/or news article basically attracts search engine spiders in order to obtain top listings and increase traffic to your website.  Press releases that are well written and properly distributed are cost effective, yet they are the fastest method of achieving search engine success for business operators.  Press releases are currently one of the most valued marketplace of ideas.

Based on visitor counts, press releases are among the most popular items of many Websites.  This is all the more reason to optimize your press release for searching and browsing.  In addition to creating links to a media room on your personal website to store your press release, create links to releases based on a buyer profile, products or geography.  Bottom line, to obtain a major boost within the search engine, you must pay close attention, not only to keywords and phrases but also to other search engine optimization factors.  Pay particular attention to the URL used, the words in the headline, the title tag and metatags and most of all the first paragraph of the release.
