Description
Learn about insects that live in our gardens and meadows. Go on a bug safari and see bugs up close. Make a fun craft while enjoying a healthy snack. There might also be a surprise bug puppet show, And don't forget to visit the Butterfuly House. A Pre-registration is required to attend.
Sweetbriar Nature Center is a private not-for-profit corporation which exists to provide natural science education services for Long Island residents of all ages and to engage in native wildlife rehabilitation services. It is situated on 54 acres of varied garden, woodland, field and wetland habitats on the Nissequogue River. Hundreds of species of plants and animals make homes here.
