Fishhawk Lake Real Estate Windows--A Different Perspective

By
Real Estate Agent with John L Scott Market Center 700512026

Sometimes while shooting towards windows, if your camera is on an automatic setting, it may not give you the light you want for a MLS photo of your listing. HOWEVER, occasionally it can present a different perspective as a photographer. Lines and angles can create their own type of interest, more from a linear and structural perspective. Not everyone is drawn to the starkness of a black and white, but there are times when it can show itself at its best without much color.

Shooting low it gave this an odd position, making it unbalanced, which I found that I actually liked. The "prow"like angles of the windows and beams draw you towards the center and the apex of the mountain in the background. This also gives you a chance to feel the textures of nature outside.

Gayle,

Definitely an interesting perspective.  We were just looking at marvelous Santa Barbara shots done by a European photographer, opened our eyes to another way to look at our world. A

A~Different viewpoints is what makes the world go 'round, I think....artists can definitely take you out of the ordinary, for a moment or a lifetime. I would enjoy seeing your European photographer's take on things.

Barbara, at times, venturing into this type of photo is very healing and stretches a photographer's safety zone. I'm rather surprised to see your comment, and it makes me happy.

Hi, Gayle -- what a great photo -- it reminds me of a couple of churches I have visited that are situated in scenic settings -- often times the windows behind the altar are used in a very similar manner.

Hi Gayle,

I love all your nature photos but this is a very interesting building with lots of windows. It reminds me of a hotel I have visited in Alaska and when the sun is going down you can look out and see the beautiful mountains. Thanks for sharing.

Sharon, such wonderful words--thank you, my friend!

Melissa, what was kind of fun was the angle that the piping on the woodstove takes up at the top.

Eric, it is interesting how it evokes something completely different for people.

Kristin, it is a stretch to go from nature to buildings, but it keeps me fresh, I think!

Gayle, That really does make a dramatic shot, not great for real estate, but a beautiful photograph!
