Today, Sunday, was another wonderfully busy day. A fun radio show with the topic of photography in real estate and the many ways we use it from MLS photos, to advertising, to home inspection photos, to sharing with a buyer who is not present, to sharing with someone who has mobility issues by previewing home via photos, to blogging photos and neighborhood localism photos.
My special guest was Dave Sandler aka Detour Dave and we discussed aerial photography. My radio show All About Real Estate is recorded and can be heard via podcast WCBM.com
Had an appointment after the show, needing a signature from my seller who does not use a fax or email.
And then we were on the road to meet family in Delaware for dinner.
Driving home, there was a loud noise, my car hit something in the highway.
Immediately these two yellow icons appeared ( photo below) showing the tire and the emergency light.
And then there was noise, instability but I was able to pull the car off the dark highway into safety. I made a call to roadside assistance but while on the phone, there appeared a tow truck in front of me. Wow that was fast! But I didn't even say where I was or the problem.
This very nice man named Jason asked if he could help and saw that my front left tire was flat. Within a short time Jason had the flat tire removed and a spare in place. No need for me to even get out of the car.
I asked how much I owed him and he said we didn't discuss a price. How much I asked again. His response...I saw you needed help and I was here.
I folded up some bills and gave it to him, asking is this enough? He put it in his pocket without even looking and said thank you. He then watched us until we were back onto the highway and waved.
