Oh, those are beautiful! Looks like a nice event. The Sheraton Tara- Joan I'm glad you put information like that in for those of us who don't live in the area anymore. I had lunch there frequently when I worked at Digital.

Kurt -- I would imagine that sping with come to North Carolina way before it get to New Hampshire.  Hope it is not too far away -- although I hear the ground hog predicted more winter!

Hi Joan - you have so many interesting events in your area! Never a dull moment, I'll bet!

Debbie~ I was glad that someone bought the hotel -- I think they are planning a bit of a face lift -- I was surprised by the new name -- I had some clients who were relocating who stayed there not to long ago -- that was the first time I knew about the new ownership.  More wintery mix today -- boy am I getting tired of shoveling!

Ross -- Cory  Both of you are going to have to leave the snow in Spokane - and enjoy some "spring" in New Hampshire.  Hope you are not too snowed it.  We have more wintery mix coming our way -- I am going to try to forget the snow and think orchids.

Mary~ I think we have a lot of event so that we don't get that winter syndrome!  One can start to get cabin fever in the winter if you don't get out and about and go to the winter events.

Joan, Those orchards are just gorgeous!  I can see Spring coming and I'm thrilled...just a few more weeks!

Those pictures really gave me a lift! One of my favorites is the flower show in Boston!

LOL! Shoveling is fun twice- then it gets old! I think we've had three inches this winter, much more rain than usual. Thanks for the update on the Tara!

Darci~  I hope that you will see some sign of spring in Michigan.  I think the snow is never going to stop.  It certainly has been a long winter.

Carole ~ I love fresh flowers!  I am looking forward to the spring tulips -- When I see them popping up, I know that spring has arrived.

Joan ~ I didn't know about the show in Boston.  It looks like something to check into.  I never had tried to grow orchids -- they are beautiful -

Debbie~  I am soooo jealous -- only 3 inches of snow -- now that I could handle.  I think the only good thing is that I have been geting a good workout!

Joan - I'll have to tell a client of mine whose family lives in Nashua, NH.  She goes there to visit them.  My mom grew up in Nashua.

Gail  ~ Thanks for taking the time to comment.  I have heard from a couple of people of Active Rain that they lived in Nashua, or have family in Nashua.  If you are visiting the Nashua area let me know.  It would be great to meet in person.

thank you - although we reached 53 today there is still 4 feet of snow - this was refreshing thanks

Joan - I don't get away much as I take care of my elderly parents, but my client is thinking of buying new construction on the Oblate Retreat property.  Would it make sense for her to talk to you when she goes there on her next trip?

02/13/2008 01:02 AM by Gail Robinson, GRI, e-PRO - Black Rock Connecticut Real Estate (William Raveis Real Estate)

Thesa~   I am not sure we are going to see spring for a while.  We had snow this morning and now it is raining -- at least it is warming up a bit your way.  Oregon is a beautiful state.  I have consulted with that ground hog and told him/her that we are looking forward to the appearance of spring.  We still have a lot of snow too.

Gail~  It can be challenging caring for our elderly parents and it certainly is difficult to get away.  I am aware of the Etchstone Builders development at the former Oblate Retreat.  I will give you a call.  I would be honored to talk with your client.  Thank you so much for thinking of me.

All though I love orchids I can't honestly say I've had enough snow. :-)
