If you’re in the mood for a sandwich, they have 12 varieties for you to choose from. Their Italiano is a big hit made on focaccia bread with poblano pesto dressing, roast beef, turkey, ham, salami, lettuce, tomato, peperoncini, bell peppers and red onions. There’s also a grilled chicken, ham & swiss, turkey club, or their Great Burger with fries. They serve a variety of at least 5 different soups and chowder as well. For dessert, delicious gelato is waiting for you – smooth and creamy and made from scratch. Finally, if a cup of coffee is what you’re craving – try any of their specialty coffee drinks: cappuccino, mochas, café au lait, macchiatos and frappes. (A great alternative to the large chain coffee shops). 2. SAN FRANCISCO BAKERY & CAFÉ http://sfbc.weebly.com/sfbc-101.html
A healthy alternative to greasy food was the objective of the owners of the San Francisco Bakery & Café when they started their restaurant in 1995. They aspired to provide a healthy alternative along with quality and freshness of the food they serve. Their sandwiches are served on fresh baked bread made from scratch by their son who spent a lot of time in San Francisco mastering the art of baking. Homemade recipes for quiches and soups gave it the café a special touch. Everything is made with only the finest and freshest ingredients they can find. Today, the family tradition of creating and serving high quality food continues. On their breakfast menu you’ll find cinnamon rolls that have been perfectly caramelized, a ham & cheese croissant that is served all day, French toast with white/wheat or sourdough bread and a variety of omelets to choose from. For lunch (which is served until closing) a delicious avocado veggie sandwich for the health conscious or their Santa Clara sandwich is a real hit with turkey, bacon, avocado, lettuce, tomato, alfalfa sprouts and provolone & ranch dressing. Just want some veggies? How about the grilled eggplant & veggie sandwich served on parmesan focaccia – eggplant, zucchini, yellow squash & bell pepper all grilled and topped with melted provolone & romaine lettuce with pesto. Yumm!! Excellent coffee drinks also served here so why stand in line at a chain? Stop in the San Francisco Bakery & Café, relax and enjoy a great meal!
