Earth Day ~ NW Austin~ Arboretum Plaza Monday April 22 2013
Our Arboretum Plaza took part in an amazing Earth Hour on March 23, 2013; it’s time to make another statement and stretch beyond the hour with Earth Day’s celebration on Monday April 22, 2013!
CBRE (our landlord) supports “Turning over a new leaf”! It’s all about a firm commitment for reducing our carbon footprint and utilizing our resources more efficiently. Simple acts like recycling or sharing a ride can make a difference in conserving our natural resources.
The Earth Day event for the Arboretum Plaza will be Monday, April 22nd from 10:00am-2:00pm. We invite you to stop by and participate in the event. Please see the following itinerary for Earth Day:
Segway Nation 10:00am-2:00pm
Come try out the Segways we will have on site and take pictures
E-Recycling 10:00am-2:00pm
Stop by and drop off old electronic equipment to be recycled
Lion’s Club 10:00am-2:00pm
Please bring your old used eye-glasses (no contacts) for the Lions Club programs
Garbo’s Lobster Truck 11:30am-2:00pm
Garbo’s will be on site for you to purchase lunch at your convenience
Landscape Resources 10:00am-12:00pm
Will provide some flowers to giveaway
Balcones Recycling 10:00am-12:00pm
Will have information about their recycling program and will bring a few giveaways
Allied Waste 10:00am-12:00pm
Will be discussing their company’s eco-friendly programs and will bring a few giveaways
