Barbara Hensley is alive and well in Rockwall, Texas

I have missing in action since September 10, 2012. A very short version of a very long story is that I had a double knee replacement on September 17. That is itself should not have been a long lasting event but due to complications which had nothing to do with the actual knee replacements but a series of non related infections. Two different REHAB stays resulted me in not getting back to my home until right before Thanksgiving. Actually I have missing in action for seven months.

I am sharing this with my awesome friends in ActiveRain because I wanted you to know that I am here to stay. You are all part of my life so watch for me and reconnect.

I am attending the blogging camp that is going on now and it is great. Things have changed greatly in these many months. This is my first blog which reminds me of my first blog when I joined AR which strangely got featured and I did not even know what a feature was at the time but one of my team partners saw it and congratulated me and I had no idea what she was talking about.

I actually feel like that beginner again with the many changes in the way blogging is changed in the eight months I have been missing in action.

Well, I am back and ready to rock & roll with all you guys.

I can relate to your knee issues. One year, I slipped on the ice in January and did a lot of knee damage. After three operations and much therapy, I finally got to the office in August. I still made the Platinum Club that year.
