Things to do in Alameda:   Salute to Education fund raiser for Alameda Education Foundation on Friday, April 19 from 6:oo pm to 9:00 pm at Rock Wall Wine Company, 2301 Monarch Street in Alameda. Ticket $30 in advance and $40 at the door.  There will be live music, a silent auction and raffle and great food.

 

Things to Do in Alameda: Zydeco Flames will be featured on Friday, April 19 starting at 9:00 pm at the Zydeco Music event at the Eagles Hall, 2305 Alameda Avenue in Alameda. Zydeco music and dancing, what could be more fun?  Tickets at the door $15.  For more information please call 415-285-6285.

Things to do in Alameda:  Earth Day Coastal Clean-up starting at 8:30 am to 10:00 am on Saturday, April 19, at Crab Cove Visitors Center, 1252 McKay Avenue.  Registration is required, please call 510-521-6887.



 

 

Things to do in Alameda:  The Alameda's Farmer’s Market is open to the public Saturday, April 19 and Tuesday, April 23 morning from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm, rain or shine.  I bought the most delicious artichokes on Tuesday.  So good.  Don’t miss the opportunity to shop for delectable fruits and vegetables.  The market is at Webster Street and Haight Avenue.

Things to Do in Alameda:  Earth Day Festival on Saturday, April 20 from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm at Washington Park on the corner of Central Avenue and Eighth Street.  Celebrate Earth Day with games, crafts, nature exhibits and entertainment for the entire family.  Free to the public.

 


Things to Do in Alameda:  Park Street businesses will be celebrating earth day on Saturday, April 20. Take a walk down Park Street and check out the specials and events taking place on Saturday.

 

 

Things to do in Alameda: Alameda South Shore Center and Off the Grid are back with more food trucks on April 19, from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm in the South Shore Center parking lot near Petco.  Eight to ten trucks will including An the Go, Curry Up Now, Fins on the Hoof, Hapa SF, Hiyaaa, House of Siam, KoJa Kitchen, Mayo & Mustard, Pacific Puffs and The Chairman.   Great weather and great food.  What could be better?

Things to Do in Alameda:  Historic Alameda High School community meeting on Saturday, April 19 beginning at 1:00 pm to discuss options for the buildings future.  Free to the public at the Alameda High School Cafeteria on the corner of Central Avenue and Walnut Street.
