Lake Charles La has many new residents moving to Lake Charles with many more new residents expected by 2015 due to SWLA Economic expansion. Relocation Companies are usually involved with the transfer of new employees to the SWLA area. I had the pleasure of recently working with a couple relocating from Traverse FL to Lake Charles.
When a Relocation Buyer contacts a Lake Charles Realtor to work with in assisting them with finding a new residence, the Realtor must also accept the assignment with the Relocation Company. A Relocation adviser will be assigned to the client and the Realtor will be required to provide updates to the Relocation Company during the house hunting process and under contract transaction.
The Relocation Buyers moving to Lake Charles from Florida had their Florida home under contract. When they made an offer on a Moss Bluff home it was contingent upon their Florida home closing by a certain date. The Florida transaction was delayed due to that transaction involving Florida Rural Development! Relocation had already scheduled the movers to relocate the family to Lake C harles and the husband was already working in his new job here in Lake Charles! Fortunately the homeowners of 963 Chapel had moved out and were willing to allow the buyers to move in under "Early Occupancy" terms.
30 days and $1,500 later for early occupancy/rent 963 Chapel finally closed and the buyers were finally able to call Lake Charles LA their new home!
