Nana Keek’s Cookies are a real find, and taste!

Nana Keek's Cookies in Carlsbad California I know because a big plateful was just delivered to our door and 3, still warm, were devoured promptly.

The chocolate cherry espresso brownie cookie may be my fave so far, but there are more to try.

I’ll reserve final judgement until I’ve tasted all of them.

All of this was due to our donation to Nana Keek’s Cookies fundraiser to raise funds to open her certified commercial kitchen in Carlsbad. Nana Keek’s founder and cookie baker, Karen Macbeth, met her goal and the kitchen is now open, no doubt a tremendous delight to those who already love her cookies and those yet to discover them.

Nana Keek’s cookies are all organic, and you can get gluten free, too, if you wish or need to. Cookies come 10 to a package, frozen, so you can bake them yourself, as many or as few as you wish, and enjoy them warm from the over. Prices range from $11.99 per package and up; the chocolate cherry espresso brownie cookies and other premium cookies are $14.99 (and well worth it, I might add).

Hi Jeff, Now that is my idea of how to bake cookies. Have them all made and ready to put in the oven. I am afraid otherwise, unless they come in a box ready to eat, that is about as close I come to baking and it sure doesn't say much. I think this will become a great new business that makes really excellent sense for most anyone that wants quality but either can't or won't make them fresh from the oven.

Pat - and that is on my list for clients, vendors, and thank yous or staying in touch. And an occasional batch pour moi!

Nina - they were amazing. Who would of thought of that combo.

Bryan - I am not positive that the kitchen can sell retail. I will find out. They are at the Alberstons, though.

Carla - some of my biggest weaknesses, especially sweets.

Silvia - therein lies the value of great photos, right?
