Gas Prices

By

Here's an interesting website that others may have already been aware of that tracks gas prices in your area.

Gas Buddy

It appears to be pretty accurate with what prices are currently.

That is one commodity we could not avoid using in the real estate industry.

When prices were over $3/gallon, it really made a difference at the end of the week.

It nice to see them down around $2/gallon again.

I remeber the days of less then $1/gallon.

How have others adjusted to these prices that seem to be here to stay?

Occasionally we'll be watching an older movie and see gas prices from the past.  Rember .78 cents?

Gas prices in the west do not mirror gas prices everywhere else.  Their new spiel is that because of the "cost to refine" in the west.  Splendid but it has always been that way.  We should be at 2.10 a gallon right now if we truly reflected oil prices.  We are still in the mid 2's. Don't get me wrong as I was thrilled it cost me less than $50 bucks to fill up the other day but if we were treated fairly out here it would be a great boost for our economy!
