Silent Sunday, Tell a Tale of Tulips Game

Last week while visiting the show gardens of RoozenGaarde in the Skagit Valley, about 90 minutes from Sammamish, we noticed the great names of many of the flowers.  In my Wordless Wednesday Tulips 2013 post, I highlighted many groups of flowers throughout the grounds.  I will focus on individual Tulips in this post and I have a challenge for you.  Can you tell a brief story using some or all of the names of flowers below?  It could be fun.

Here are several tulips in alphabetical order.

Don't have a great story for you, but really appreciate the photos, there are great. Some really interesting signs/names in the center of the photos.

Dan, Those are great photos of beautiful flowers.  We had some of them in a planter in the front of the house where I grew up.  We could usually count on one more snow storm once they were either blooming or getting ready to bloom.

Hi Joe, Thanks for stopping by.  No one has taken up the challenge so far but I thought the names were interesting.

Hi Alan, I look forward to see what you can come up with.  If you do, you'll be the front runner.

Hi Tony & Darcy, We've had some hail storms threaten some blooms, but I'm sure we're done with snow here.

Hi Nick, I thought so too. It looks as if it has teeth.

Hi David, We are grateful for spring here too.

The Little Ballerina A little ballerina in had a big dream so one night when she fell asleep, she strangely awoke in Barcelona in the Outbreak Hotel. Confused, she ran downstairs and right into handsome Fabio. 'Princess Irene' where have you been? Let's go into the cafe and have a aperitif (cocktail). While sitting there with Fabio, the show was starting. A waitress came by and asked if they would like to try the new salad called Purple Dream. She ate the salad and Fabio paid by cash. Then three dancers began the show. Miss Magic Price, Miss Money Maker, and Miss Double Price and after about 5 minutes of dancing and singing the spot light shined on the little table with Fabio and the little ballerina. Who are they talking about? Fabio said you my dear, you are not just a simple ballerina but the Queen of the Night. She immediately got up and started dancing and her clothes turned into a beautiful white satin tutu with sparkles and pearls and the crowd roared with delight. She danced most of the night and fell asleep right after the show stopped. When she awoke, her mother walked in and said "wake up or you will be late to school". What, I am the Queen of the Night. Her mother said "I told you not to go to sleep watching the Kung Fu show as it always gives you nightmares". Where am I she asked? Why in Seattle of course. The little ballerina just smiled and smiled.

What gorgeous tulips. They are my favorite flowers. Since Kristen did write it, I won't attempt. We do not have a Starbucks near here anyway. Love what you did.
