Virtual Tours of a home (why 2)?

When you are creating virtual tours or slide shows of photos you need to be aware of your audience.

I have created 2 tours of this home for two different groups of people.

1. This is a "Branded" version it included my contact information and company name so it is used for me to setup on my personal website, blog and to email directly to clients:

1530 Broad Crossing
Fine Home to see

2. This is a "non-Branded" version so it does not include contact information or my company name. This is used to add to our local MLS and I also use it to email directly to other agents. This way they can forward it to their prospects and clients too....

1530 Broad Crossing
Fine Home to send to clients

Good Idea Charles! They say "Two are Better Than One!" Not sure if they were referencing real estate! Sales!  You could also make copies and attach them to flyers in the box.

Charles, Real Estate Shows offers us the option of branded or non-branded versions of our tours as well.  Gotta love that I can create one show and use it multiple ways.  BTW, very nice listing.

Thanks for pointing out both ways.

Nice listing... great photos. To be honest with you the first one didn't seem to have so much branding that it would offend another agent. But you never know. ;)

I always do virtual tours. To me it helps people's online experience of my listings.  I usually just use the branded version and have not recieved any negative feedback from other agents.

RALPH - NP

DEBBIE - any branding and we get hit by MLS violations here.

JIM - glad that works in your area.

Charles, I took your advice and visited your site. I particularly liked the land listings. Very high end.

Charles, it's a smart idea to have the branded and unbranded versions for two different audiences.  I've done this too in the past.

02/07/2008 03:17 PM by Brian Block -- Northern Virginia & D.C. Real Estate (RE/MAX Allegiance)

BILL - Excellent!

BRIAN - See I learned something from the RE/MAX conference :-)

As you point out Charles, many MLS groups won't even allow a branded tour. So, whatever tour company people use, they should get two versions -- without having to build it twice. Just my 2¢

BTW - Nice looking tours you did.

Charles - I like this and I like the fact that it doesn't take forever to load or crash my browser!

Charles,  I have the same arrangement with my tours, but I have been using an outside vendor - I'm going to swithch to RE/MAX Design Center, Karen

02/08/2008 06:33 AM by Karen Kruschka - One of the most experienced agents in Northern Virginia (RE/MAX Allegiance)

KAREN - The input is slower with Design Center but the results are great!

Charles - Here in Mass it is mandatory to be done that way. In our MLS there can be nothing with personal information attached.

Nice looking tours, Charles!  We often have to do more than one tour (with and without branding) for our clients as well.  It really helps when we have software that makes it easy to do without taking up loads of time to do it.

Charles - down here you can actually get a fine if you use the branded version in the MLS! By the way, nice new photo!!!!
