The bison or buffalo are an awesome sight, and, in at least one section of Yellowstone, large herds of bison cross the road at least once a day. Imagine hundreds of bison walking along and over the road you are driving in on your car. It is really an awe inspiring sight. It usually causes a traffic jamb, but everyone can see the bison up close during the slow progression.

This is the Tomball Depot, which is not too far from my office. By the way, the second Saturday of each month, there is a get-together at the Depot with movies, games and tours of the depot.
