How many times have we heard or said- business is business? We try and take emotions out of it and for a good reason. The problem is, it is hard to not get emotional when your livelihood is under attack. Especially Jay Inslee Empty promiseswhen there were promises made that it would not be.

Taxes can be for the common good and they can also hurt it. There is a balance. Right now in Olympia the balance is way out of whack and we were all just lied to by the man who was elected Governor.

How do you feel about the Governor backsliding on his campaign promise of "No New TAXES!?! Click the link to the quick petition and let him know. (The petition only asks for your name , e-mail and zip code.) copy the link and spread the word.

If you want to see just what Governor Inslee is proposing check out this youtube video. It is less than a minute long and worth the watch.

It is time we call these politicians out when they sell us a bill of goods. Please spread the word to those you know and also make sure to tell them that Washington State took in an additional 2 BILLION dollars in revenue!

The tax increases are going to continue until the system fails. California, Illinois and New York are the poster child states for how the socialists intend to take away your money, liberty and way of life. You've been fortunate in Washington State to have reasonable tax rates, it won't last. Your state is a target filled with low hanging tax fruit so to speak.

Want to see the future? Look to California to see what's in store for Washington and the rest of the nation....

Will- I would argue that our tax rates are not reasonable. I have watched as those that were elected have crippled small businesses and put people out of work. Something has to give. We are headed in the wrong direction.

Dinah, Fortunately we don't have state taxes, but our current president lied about taxes too. Goes with the territory I guess.

Hi Dinah,

Raising taxes on Real Estate will stall our current activity. I don't like being lied to, but then again, I've rarely found a politician of any stripe I'd take seriously.

So far I see a lot of state workers loosing their jobs. When are the managers and supervisors going to have to work? Who do they manage? Now I see they are going to save money by hiring part time workers rather than full time so they can game the health care system mandates. Yikes...

Mark- It gets old doesn't it.

Dan- Not a fan of liars wither although being involved in politics I have found good people who are honest and the ones who do lie and minipulae ruin it for all of them.

Paul- There is a lot of mishandling going on. In other states they cut from from the top first and keep customer service up. In our state we punishh the citizens if they don't want to pay more in taxes. That is why they don;t fund our priorities first. They use them tas bait to keep funding for pet projects.
