Want the music, food and fun of Jazz Fest this weekend minus the drive and the massive crowds? We may just have a solution for you!
On April 27th and 28th Olde Towne Slidell is holding its spring street fair. Come out and check out the local flavor of foods, antiques and music because it will surely all be there.
Over 150 vendors will be selling everything from antiques, furniture, depression glass, collectibles to vintage jewelry, art, pottery, dolls, toys, and handmade crafts. Whew, that’s a lot of stuff!
Looking at all of the great items will surely get your taste buds ready for all the delicious food that will be at the event.
There were also be live entertainment to help you get your groove on! Performers like Overboard, Pooyai, TiJonne Reyes Jazz Trio, Tuba Skinny, Wasted Lives, Sweet Jones and DJ Professor Possum will rock out on three different stages.
Admission is FREE! What more could you ask for?!
The event runs from 10 in the morning to five in the evening each day. It will be confined to First, Second and Erlanger Streets.
This is the 32nd annual street fair. It is hosted by the Slidell Historical Antique Association.
