Welcome to the new and (hopefully) improved Weekly Market Update for the Crestline community (known by some as Lake Gregory). Each week we'll be looking at the real estate activity as reported in the Rim O' the World multiple listing service. Keep in mind that there could be other listings, sales, etc, that are happening via private party, out-of-area agents (who are not members of our local MLS), and the like, so my statistics will be skewed a bit. You will, however, get a very good "snapshot" of the overall maket.
In this weekly report, we'll be looking at the number of new listings that were entered into the system during that time period. We'll also be tracking the number of residential listings available for sale (active), properties in escrow (pending) and homes that sold. Along with the number of houses sold, we'll be looking at the average number of days they were on the market and the average list-to-sale percentages.
Here's the record of activity for the dates of April 15 through April 21 of 2013:

The lone sold property was on the market for 34 days and brought in 141.41% of the list price (in other words, it sold for quite a bit more than it was listed for.....and I would reckon there were probably multiple offers).
