Perspective
Perhaps there is another way of seeing things. In any situation, we can find something to complain about, we have all done it. Viewed from a different perspective, we can always find good. If both are there, than we get to choose how to perceive things.
Which do you choose?

I'm grateful I don't have to deal with that last one. I hate alarms! I have never needed an alarm clock. For some reason, if I have to get up at 4am, I do. Or earlier, or later. I have never needed an alarm clock!

Tom, If we just look around someone is a whole lot worse off than we are. We need to focus on counting our blessings.
Tom, We all have a choice. Some people don't realize they are choosing because they are too focused on being a victim (of the circumstances they created). I am much happier when I take responsibility and own the fact that I am where I am because of the choices I have made. The other stuff ... we just need to deal with it.
Hey Tom, I really like this very positive post about finding the joy in our day-to-day lives. Ain't it the truth too? It's easy to celebrate the vacations and special moments - the real test is celebrating the ordinary. Well done.
