The Camellia bush at the back of my house usually starts blooming in February. It has bloomed as early as January and as late as early March. But the end of April? What's going on? It has never bloomed this late and I thought it was just not going to bloom this year at all.
Suddenly last week, it rewarded me with beautiful buds and some opening blooms! Whew - It's alive and well and beautiful.

It's that late spring every that one is having. Spring is just messing with us trying to fool us. Our dogwoods just bloomed this week and the tulips are mostly gone. Very weird.
