Our area of Texas is not really known for outstanding bucks, but this one has got to be seen. He was taken in Madison County. The story is he was shot, and lost but found 6 weeks later. His outside spread is 30''. Horns don't appear to have that much mass but he scored 160 net. This is a free range deer. Through quality management practices we are finally beginning to see improvement in our area of Texas. This season was very mild and there should be an excellent survival rate and fawn crop too.

That really is an exceptional deer. You, or whoever harvested the deer should look into doing a European mount...they work well for just the skull!

Despite the smaller mass measurements that outside spread really added to the score. That is a very unique set of antlers for sure.
